Because of this, we have been able to find a great deal of information about the company and its product/service quality from numerous web-based sources. As well, the website itself provides lot of information to study and review – listings of its products, pricing, customer testimonials, and writing samples to review and evaluate. Off-site, we have located many review sites at which customer reviews have been posted, and, as well, other feedback on social media channels. As a final assessment tool, we ordered a research paper from SuperiorPapers, so that we could evaluate quality first-hand. We have summarized our finding here.

Summary of Products & Services

Since its beginning, SuperorPapers.com has focused on academic writing only. Over the years, it has added admissions, scholarship, and personal statement essay writing, as well as editing, proofreading, and resume and CV creation.

The company offers writing and other services to students at all academic levels, from high school forward, and does advertise that it can produce theses and dissertations for graduate students in any content field. SuperiorPapers further states that it uses only ENL writers from the U.S. and UK, all of whom have received their degrees from English-speaking colleges and universities.

Customer Support

We did read some complaints regarding customer support, and so we contacted this department on three occasions – twice by telephone and once via live chat. We asked questions about policies and specific types of products, as we do for every review we conduct. Here is what we found:

• Customer support reps are not too knowledgeable about products and services. It is almost as if there is a contracted answering service. There were delays while reps had to “check” on the answers we sought.
• At one point, we asked if a full dissertation could be produced and delivered to us within 14 days, and the answer was “yes.” This was a huge red flag for us. Either the rep was unaware of what a dissertation is or the company is engaging in rather fraudulent practices. If SuperiorPapers.com is in the business of providing original academic products with graduate-degreed writers, it knows that a 14-day deadline for a dissertation is impossible.

Product Quality

The reviews on products quality are quite mixed. Obviously, the site-published testimonials are all quite positive. Reaching out into the web, however, there are mixed reviews. Customers complain about quality and the struggle to get revisions and refunds when their instructions are not followed and they do not receive what they have ordered. We looked at more than just customer reviews, however.

• There are sample writings on the site. Unfortunately, we have seen the same samples elsewhere, so we are not certain who actually produced them.
• An admission essay to a dental school program was filled with incorrect word usage and other grammatical errors.
• A paper on depression and anxiety was not a paper at all, but just a brief summary of research in the field.
• A lab report in the field of psychology was not a report at all
• The research paper we received was not at a university level, either in composition, style and vocabulary or in resources used. One of the resources, in fact, was a textbook.

Overall, we can state that SuperiorPapers.com is not a fraud or scam; however, quality of product is definitely an issue.

We were unable to find a Superior Papers BBB membership, although the company states that it is based in the U.S.

Prices and Discounts

Superior Papers prices are in the high-average range, and that is perhaps the reason for the current offering of $20 discounts on a first order. There is also a 15% discount for new customers, with a promo code to use; however, both of these may not be used at the same time. The company also has a loyalty discount program and provides coupon codes when certain milestones are met.

Pricing is divided into three levels – standard, premium and platinum. What we find very odd is that there is no distinction among academic levels or complexity of assignment. A basic high school essay is priced the same per page as a Ph.D. dissertation. We find it quite suspect that a writer would be willing to take the same amount of pay for a dissertation as for a high school essay.

Add-Ons

While title, bibliography and table of contents pages are free, along with revisions, customer must pay for other extras, including proofreading by an editor and plagiarism reports. The company also states that free email delivery is a $10 value, which we find laughable.

Final Word

Superior Papers has work to do to improve the quality of its products. In reviewing the pros & cons, this is the biggest issue we find, and yet it is the most critical. It should also consider using in-house customer support reps and training them appropriately. Our overall rating of this writing service is “Fair.”
